I AM A PARENT, TOO.

I know what it feels like to spend each day wanting to be a better parent. To spend each day knowing that you can be a better parent.

Most importantly, I'm a parent. I have two kids that I'm raising right along with you.

I'm also a professional coach that has worked with hundreds of various leaders, parents, and teenagers, and consulted with 20+ organizations. And I've dedicated 20+ years to the field of education as a teacher and mentor, a school principal, and a national leader.

Why I became a parent coach.

My 17+ year journey in education, from teacher to principal to a national educational leader, unexpectedly steered me towards the most fulfilling role of all: becoming a parent coach. Most of my years were spent in schools serving children with unique challenges, such as anxiety, depression, severe ADHD, addiction recovery, and other challenges. We often said  "kids don't enroll in (this) program, parents do" because of the transformative role we each play in our kids' lives - often unknowingly shaping their world.

I spent much of my time throughout these years counseling parents through their struggles in leading and connecting with their children. Genuinely, I was thrilled each time one of them sought out support, as this meant they were searching for opportunities to grow as a parent. During this time, I also found my love for the 1:1 coaching platform as I supported each of the new leaders for the schools I opened and helped to support.

In 2017, I made the transition from education to beginning a full-time coaching practice. Since then, becoming a parent coach was a natural evolution of my commitment to making a real difference in as many families across the world as possible. It’s about guiding you through challenges and celebrating your victories, ensuring your family thrives on a foundation of love, understanding, and resilience. Together, let's transform your parenting challenges into opportunities for growth and fulfillment.

My journey to you.

Dr. Clowes has spent the last few years building a coaching and consulting practice focused on human performance and leadership. His clients range across the globe, from Hollywood to the tech industry and back to education, and he still keeps one foot in the adolescent world. Before launching Re-Tri and Mighty Parents, Lester spent 16 years working in the educational industry in various capacities. He played key roles in starting dozens of schools from scratch while leading efforts in operations, marketing, hiring and training, and leadership development. And during these years he found himself constantly serving as mentor or coach to hundreds of professionals, which would lead to his decision to create his own practice. He earned his Bachelor’s in History from the University of Memphis, Master’s in Teaching from Christian Brothers University, and his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California. His dissertation focused on the integration of technology and its interplay with culture and leadership, and his work was nominated for USC’s dissertation of the year in 2015.

The title he’s most proud of, though, is “Dad” to the two most awesome souls on the planet. He’ll debate anyone on the idea that anime is the highest form of screen-based media, that Batman needs a therapist or he’ll usher in the apocalypse, and that One Piece is the greatest story ever told in human history. He loves the gym, collectible card games, and Halo. He’s also served on the board of an esports league and still competes in different games.
